Hi, I'm a Full-Stack Software Developer with over 5 years of experience. Most of my experience have been with .NET/C#, SQL Server, and front end technologies like Aurelia and Angular using TypeScript and Knockout JS. Even though I enjoy the tech stacks I've worked in over the years I'm also really interested in learning new ones! 

Before I got into software development I was in full-time ministry as a Student Pastor. Being in ministry is actually why I got into software development. The church I was serving at needed their website updated. So, I took on the task and began working with a website builder to crank out a more modernized website for the church. I really enjoyed the process! My wife and I were having our first kid (Ruthie) and she really desired to stay at home when she was born. So, I started looking for avenues to make money on the side because we couldn't afford her to stay home on my Student Pastor salary. A buddy of mine told me I should look into programming. He thought I would really enjoy it because of my math background. He was right! I started learning on my own watching and reading anything I could on the subject. It got to a point where I told my wife that I think I would really enjoy doing this as a full-time job instead of a side hustle. This led me to pursue a bootcamp and, by God's grace, break into the field.

I entered the field 5 years ago with the hope that God would use it to bring me back to ministry in some way. I still have a deep desire to use my talents and skills to further the kingdom of God.
