Print Production Manager

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of print production and vendor relationships for Ligonier Creative Services. You will also manage and give leadership to our print production staff to ensure that projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and in line with our high standards for print quality.

This position is located in Sanford, FL, and has the possibility of remote work, typically 1-2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Allocation: Collaborate with our project manager, Creative director, and designers to determine project scope and the most effective resources and specifications for timely print execution.
  • Job Scoping and Estimating: Carefully scope and estimate incoming jobs, ensuring accurate tracking of time and costs.
  • Team Direction: Lead and motivate production staff, encouraging best practices and supporting sound decision-making. Ensure that all team members have the necessary tools and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and manage a portfolio of print vendors, serving as the primary liaison to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Design Coordination: Work closely with designers to confirm production specifications and manage quoting, sample requests, proof management, and final product reviews.

Requirements:
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of print production processes, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a similar role managing high quality print production projects.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Communication skill: You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in OSX; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
  • Professionalism and continuous growth: A commitment to continuous improvement, growth, and development as a creative production professional.
  • Faith Alignment: Commitment to Reformed theology and ability to affirm the Ligonier Ministries Core Statement of Faith.
  • Attendance: Ability to meet the attendance requirements of the position in Sanford, Florida.

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 annually. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
