Product Manager
As a Product Manager, you will work closely under the coordination of the Finance Group Product Manager. In this collaborative environment, you will play a pivotal role within the Finance Product Management team, ensuring the successful planning and execution of multiple products throughout the Product lifecycle. With the Group Product Manager, you will contribute to defining the vision and strategy, conducting customer and competitive analyses, and creating strategic roadmaps for the products within the group.

You will actively participate in problem discovery and brainstorming sessions to gather and prioritize customer requirements, aiming to find innovative solutions that align with the company's overall strategy and goals. By collaborating with various cross-functional teams, such as engineering, sales, marketing, and customer experience, you will facilitate effective communication and alignment to drive product success.

Your role as a Product Manager will involve supporting the Group Product Manager in monitoring the progress of individual finance products within the group, ensuring they meet milestones and adhere to deadlines. Additionally, you will assist in resource allocation, risk management, and identifying opportunities for cross-product collaboration and synergies to enhance the overall value proposition of the product group.

Throughout your journey as a Product Manager, you will have the invaluable mentorship and guidance of the Group Product Manager, who will help you develop your leadership skills, foster a culture of innovation, and achieve excellence in product management. Working collaboratively with the Group Product Manager and other team members, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional products that delight customers, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the company's overall success.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role
  • Assist in defining the product vision (future state), strategy and roadmap (approach to realizing the vision), and tactical (how the strategy will be executed), all with a focus and deep understanding of both customer's needs and business goals.
  • Deliver MRD (Market Requirements or Demands) and pitch development documents with prioritized features and capabilities with the corresponding business-driven impact.
  • Manage the product throughout the Product Life Cycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, driving product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products.
  • Be an expert concerning the competition; monitoring the market trends and competitive analysis, identifying product opportunities and plans.
  • Deliver core positioning and messaging for the product.
  • Ensure Sales and CX teams are well equipped to present products to current and prospective customers.
  • Perform product demos to customers (beta/MVP/deep dives).
  • Assess partnerships and licensing opportunities that will drive adoption, retention, and revenue.
  • Set goals and track KPIs that lead to future decision making and health of the product.
  • Communicate for clarity between all Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure product goals are met and aligned.

  • Plans and aligns to manage the product throughout the product lifecycle. Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with engineering, and delivering winning products. 

Technical Qualifications
Required: 
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the technology industry or in a company that develops software, hardware, or technology-based products.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle, including ideation, requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and release.
  • High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Understanding user experience (UX) and interface (UI) principles to create user-friendly and visually appealing products.
  • Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies working with a Marketing Team.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with an understanding of technical documentation, including product specs and user stories.
  • Has strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Preferred:
  • Previous experience in project management, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver products within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Proven success as a product developer in a nonmanagerial role.
  • Experience creating and delivering training to both internal and external stakeholders.

Office Requirements:
  • We are a fully distributed team (100% remote) with travel required 1-2 times per year.
  • A stable work environment with a designated workspace and access to high-speed internet.
  • In order to align with other team time zones that include US, Canadian and Australian. US and Canadian candidates are preferred.
