Remote Senior UX Designer

Senior UX Designer
As the Senior UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity, usability, and accessibility of Tithe.ly’s software solutions. We’re looking for someone to bring a blend of creative expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership, in order to drive our design excellence forward across the organization.

Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000

Primary Responsibilities of the Role
  • Design Leadership:
    • Provide strategic UX direction and leadership.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement amongst the designers.
    • Align design initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • User-Centric Design:
    • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
    • Conduct user research to gain insights and inform design decisions.
    • Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all products.
  • Product Design:
    • Oversee end-to-end design processes, from concept to delivery.
    • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions.
    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Brand Consistency:
    • Maintain and evolve the visual identity and brand consistency across all digital platforms.
    • Develop and enforce design guidelines to ensure a cohesive brand presence.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
    • Present and communicate design concepts and strategies to executive leadership.

  • Plan and Align by setting objectives for the product design to align with broader organizational goals.
  • Cultivate Innovation by creating new and better ways for the Product Team to be successful, and by encouraging diverse thinking to promote and nurture innovation.
  • Maintain a Customer Focus by gaining insight into customer needs, and by building and delivering solutions  by Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives that meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate by building partnerships and working alongside Product and Engineering to meet shared objectives.
  • Intentionally Develops Talent by placing a high priority on developing others through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments.
  • Manage Complexity by asking the right questions to accurately analyze situations, uncovering root causes to difficult problems, and by acquiring data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems.

Technical Qualifications
Required:
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a design leader in a SaaS or fintech environment. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and successful implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Figma, design tools, UX/UI principles, and current industry trends. 
  • Leadership experience in managing and growing design teams.


Preferred:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding or knowledge of front-end coding software
  • Familiarity in church culture and pain points for church volunteers.


Office Requirements:
  • We are a fully distributed team (100% remote) with travel required 1-2 times per year.
  • A stable work environment with designated workspace and access to high-speed internet.
  • US-based and legally able to work full time in the US. Sponsorships are not available at this time.
