About the Project

We are building a Funds Disbursement Request & Management System for a global missions organization that supports vulnerable communities around the world. This system ensures transparency, efficiency, and accountability—so that more funds reach the front lines of ministry.

The tech stack includes:

Frontend: Angular, Firebase Hosting
Backend: NestJS (Node.js + TypeScript), MySQL
DevOps & Infra: Docker, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

We’re seeking a mission-aligned, technically strong developer to help extend functionality, improve performance, and support the ongoing evolution of the platform.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend components in Angular
Develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services using NestJS
Model and optimize relational data structures in MySQL
Collaborate with other developers and project stakeholders in an Agile environment
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, both frontend and backend
Write and maintain unit and integration tests
Follow best practices for Git version control and CI/CD workflows
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural decisions

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years experience in Angular (v12 or newer preferred)
3+ years experience in NestJS with TypeScript
Strong backend development experience with Node.js and MySQL
Experience with REST API design, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and basic security best practices
Comfortable with Docker and understanding of cloud-native architectures
Version control with Git and familiarity with GitHub workflows
Able to write unit/integration tests
Professional proficiency in English (B2 or higher)

Nice-to-Have

Experience with GCP, especially Cloud Run
Firebase Hosting and Firebase Authentication
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deployment and testing
Background in working with faith-based or mission-driven organizations
