About the Team
The Marketing Team’s primary responsibilities are to communicate the value of the Subsplash platform to the world—managing all outward-facing communications, leading demand generation efforts, creating go-to-market product strategies, facilitating brand management/identity, and more. We create beautiful and effective email campaigns, social media strategies, website content, product identities, videos, and more. We identify prospects and nurture them into quality leads for our sales team. For existing clients, we help them understand and engage with our products and new features. We have fun moving projects from concept to reality, and discovering what works well to help Subsplash and our clients succeed.
Job Summary
As the Video Producer and Editor on the marketing team, you report to the Sr. Marketing Media Strategist. You are a visual storyteller who can conceptualize, capture, produce, and edit engaging videos that tell Subsplash’s story across multiple platforms, including web, social, events, and more. You are a driven passionate self-starter who stays current with video trends and has experience with processes and tools (including AI) that increase efficiency without sacrificing quality. You excel as a video editor who has skills in editing both live-action video as well as animation and motion design. You are a critical thinker who collaborates well with team members and can implement feedback while also championing work. You are eager to explore new ways of engaging audiences through short-form and long-form videos. As the Video Producer and Editor you are highly organized, detailed, and keenly attentive to results and goals with a passion for creating compelling stories that reach our target audience.
Essential Functions
- Edit and publish videos including major events, product demos, client testimonials, social media content, and everything in between.
- Oversee innovative and engaging video animations and motion graphics that help to communicate a message and captivate an audience.
- Responsible for sourcing music, adding sound FX, animations, and more to continue to produce high-end video content for Subsplash.
- Work closely with the Sr. Marketing Media Strategist and creative team to align content creation with product releases, marketing campaigns, blogs, and more.
- Support and inform storyboards, messaging, shot selections and more to produce engaging video content for all things related to the Subsplash Platform
- Create workflows and techniques to manage complex video projects effectively and manage all video file storage and backups.
- Repurpose existing content and create new original content all while ensuring deadlines are met with a solution-oriented, efficiency-focused mindset.
- Research of current trends, applications, and technology for videography, and social media
- Provide clear measurements of project statuses (milestones, etc.) to the rest of the creative and marketing team.
Required Education and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in video production and/or animation.
- Proven ability with post-production editing software including Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma/Canva, and other design tools.
- Proven ability with digital animation tools such as After Effects (Blender & Unreal engine are a plus).
- Experience in video and still camera operation, lighting, and on-set procedures.
- Proven ability to create engaging short-form content, particularly on platforms like TikTok, showcasing creativity and understanding of audience preferences.
- Willingness to experiment, adapt, and evolve content strategies to resonate with changing audience interests and platform trends.
- Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet correlating deadlines.
Compensation
The total compensation for this role (base salary + bonuses) will be between $70,000-75,000/yr depending upon experience.

Subsplash currently has operations in 25 states across the US! As much as we would love to have employees in as many states and countries as we have clients, we are currently limiting hiring to the states we already operate in. As a result of that, this role is only available as a 100% remote position if you reside in one of the following states:
AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, MO, MI, MN, NC, NM, OK, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WY.
