We're seeking a seasoned technology executive to lead our Technology Services team. As VP of Technology Services, you'll drive the development and management of our technology ecosystem, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of Ligonier's global ministry. You'll partner with our executives to establish priorities, leverage emerging trends, and guide our technology strategy. Strategic: Serve as a thought leader for technology implementation at Ligonier Ministries.

Develop and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with and promotes the ministry’s strategic goals.
Partner with other departments to understand their needs and ensure technology solutions meet those needs.
Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, APIs, network systems, and cloud-based solutions.
Evaluate and recommend emerging and existing technology platforms, products, vendors, team needs, and required competencies.

Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of technology managers, professionals and specialists.

Create an environment in Technology Services that supports professional growth in skills and knowledge. Model and promote the use of frequent and honest performance feedback as well as periodic performance reviews.
Develop leadership capabilities of direct reports.
Foster a culture of teamwork within Technology Services and across the ministry with client departments.
Oversee effective technology budget at all levels and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Operations: Manage the quality and integrity of Ligonier's technology environment.

Develop a roadmap and ongoing processes for updating and renewing aging technology and expiring licenses.
Lead ongoing Customer Relationship Management evaluation and implementation and Data initiatives.
Manage various technology service and product vendors.
Develop security strategy across software, hardware, network, data, and apps.
Ensure the security and integrity of Ligonier’s business and media data.
Maintain business continuity plans and disaster recovery plans consistent with the ministry-wide risk register.
Oversee technology aspects of Ligonier’s online platforms and in-person conferences.
Oversee incident, request, and problem management processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
History of successfully evaluating, selecting, and implementing new technology platforms and solutions.
Experience implementing and supporting CRM platforms and content management systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and people skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Successful record of leading technology design and maintenance processes, including development, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment with diverse stakeholders.
Passion for Ligonier's mission and commitment to using technology to further its reach.
Ability to affirm the Ligonier Ministries Statement of Faith – Core.

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, Florida. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States. Remote work not available for this position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
