Marketing Strategist
📍 Matthews, NC
Location: Hybrid role in Matthews, NC (must reside in metro Charlotte, NC area)
Hours: 30 hours per week
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Marketing Strategist plays a pivotal role in advancing the outreach efforts of Proverbs 31 Ministries and maximizing opportunities to provide compelling, life-changing content that helps women know God’s truth and apply it to their lives. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote programs, events, and initiatives, ultimately driving engagement, increasing awareness, and fostering community involvement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, market opportunities, audience preferences and satisfaction, and challenges, and utilize insights to refine ministry marketing strategies.
- Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaign performance for events, fundraisers, and awareness initiatives, and communicate with the Marketing Director what changes need to take place ensuring maximum participation and impact against ministry goals.
- Strategize compelling and impactful content utilizing an omni-channel campaign approach to increase audience engagement and retention.
- Cultivate and nurture new relationships through effective acquisition and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including program managers, designers, and volunteers to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts in achieving goals and maintaining a healthy promotional schedule.
- Plan and facilitate various meetings that are essential to the implementation of marketing plans. Ensure effective follow-up on assignments post meeting.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- An understanding of and a commitment to the mission of Proverbs 31 Ministries
- Proven ability to understand an organization’s goals, needs and challenges in order to develop appropriate and effective marketing solutions.
- 3 years of proven marketing strategy development, preferably in the non-profit sector, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling marketing content and content strategies tailored to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workflow.
- Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of current digital marketing best practices, social media trends, web usability, SEO principles, Google Analytics, email standards, industry trends, and in-depth knowledge of CRM and content management systems.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to listen actively to customer needs and stakeholder concerns.
- Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire teams and foster, collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
