Remote Manager, Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

About the Role:
This Search Engine Optimization (SEO) role is for idea generators, master collaborators, planning geniuses, and natural-born analysts. You will have a chance to help us grow our traffic and revenues so that we can make a bigger impact around the world in our current and future markets. 

Our Manager, SEO will help design and execute a compelling strategy that delivers results via organic marketing. You will audit, create, strategize, and find opportunities for Logos to outrank the best. This exciting opportunity is for someone passionate about SEO, content, AI, and continuous technical improvement. Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 per year  

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cohesive analysis to predict topics relevant to our markets, demographics, and users.
  • Liaise with US and international business partners on SEO-related initiatives.
  • Regularly update traffic, registrations, and trial models in partnership with analytics to forecast key performance indicators for the coming quarters and financial year. 
  • Maintain a high level of new & existing product understanding to ensure search success.
  • Monitor keyword ranking performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and capitalize upon incremental traffic opportunities.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for site structure, creative design, keyword and link development strategies, and content optimization.
  • Contribute to data-driven, results-oriented, innovative, and best-in-class SEO team.
  • Help others learn and grow. You recognize that SEO can be a "black box" to others, and you understand how to distill down key SEO concepts easily for others to understand.
  • Help our SEO lead build the SEO program into an SEO Center of Excellence that maximizes traffic and revenue opportunities across Logos ecosystem.
  • Stay current on the SEO and search landscape, emerging trends and tools to automate processes or deliver more sophisticated analysis.
  • Leverage AI and GPT where it makes sense to help speed up our testing and learning. 
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify opportunities on Logos.com , support SEO leader to forecast results, and implement strategies in a cross-functional team, as well as prepare and present executive-ready reports with insights about SEO performance.
  • Collaborate with business groups to solve technical problems, provide optimization recommendations, and forecast impact to initiate traffic across our web properties.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering/Dev team to implement SEO-friendly technical changes (e.g., optimize for Web Vitals, add appropriate schema).

Requirements: 
  • Has a well-rounded background in SEO, including on-page, off-site, and technical SEO.
  • Proven project management skills with a “rolls-up-their-sleeves” mentality.
  • Is creative and resourceful, with a track record of innovating and trying out-of-the-box methods to achieve a goal, even with limited resources.
  • Thinks strategically and understands how SEO impacts overall website, marketing, and business strategies.
  • Strong track record of successfully implementing SEO strategies that resulted in organic traffic growth, improved search rankings, and increased conversions.
  • Ability to stand up programs from the group-up or from scratch, commitment to deliver on plan and execute our ideas fully. 
  • Highly creative with a hands-on approach that embraces ambiguity and defines a way forward. 
  • Strong results-based mentality, analytical skills, and data-driven thinking (must be comfortable working with numbers, metrics, and spreadsheets), reporting out on the ROI of our efforts.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and a solid understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for optimization.

Preferred Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO, eCommerce experience is a plus. 
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with website development and coding principles. Familiarity with Builder.io is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce/Shopify) and experience optimizing commerce pages for search engines is a plus.

The U.S. base salary for this full-time position ranges from $85K to $110K per year. Logos salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on each remote job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Note: Currently, we are able to hire in every state in the United States except for the District of Columbia.
