Remote Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Manager (MM) reports to the Associate Director of Media and Technology. The position serves as a member of the Pure Desire (PD) MARCOM team. This role serves PD at large in relation to PD branding, communication, SEO, lead generators, marketing strategy, and brand exposure. The MM develops highly effective marketing and communication methods through a deep understanding of the church and PD’s target audience, which in turn, achieves profit and maximizes the brand’s long-term potential both in business and ministry.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Seek new avenues for the message of PD to be heard and seen by our target audience, including all possible forms of advertising and publication.
  • Develop Marketing Road Map and budget, including creating/running campaigns, measure ROI, adjust as needed.
  • Collaborate and execute all means of external communication (social media, emails, podcast, lead generators, website, etc) for consistency and excellence of messaging, as well as alignment with the overarching vision of PD.
  • Plan, schedule, assist with the Pure Desire Podcast and the PD podcast network, guests, etc.
  • In cooperation with the MARCOM team help develop new and current PD resources with an expansive, relevant approach.
  • Assist and collaborate with the development and planning of PD Events to maximize effectiveness and reach.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and assessment of all marketing strategies with the MARCOM Team to move the organization forward and reach more people with the message of PD.
  • Develop, strengthen, and preserve the Pure Desire brand, including the logo, web presence, merchandising, video, blog, and podcast development, and publications.
  • Work with the MARCOM Associate Directors to analyze cost effectiveness of marketing approach and determine pricing of PD materials (workbooks, resources, clinical offerings).

  • Strong project management and leadership abilities
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Google apps
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Demonstrates vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
  • Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Excels in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent people manager, open to collaborative work styles
  • Ability to present and challenge issues of importance to the organization and its leadership
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Effectively set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions
  • Campaign strategy development, execution with measurable results, ROI

Preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, branding, keyword research
  • 4 year degree in related field
