Job Title: Web Developer We're seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team in our quest to create a better digital landscape. As a Web Developer at Shiloh, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying web applications that align with our mission and values.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly web applications using modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and our team's coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase and development processes
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide technical support to our clients and users as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our web applications and services

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills and expertise
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby, and experience with frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and web security
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, and agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
  • Passion for open-source software, decentralization, and digital freedom, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and approaches

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with proxmox and containerization using Docker
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, and experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment
  • Familiarity with decentralized technologies like blockchain, and experience with cryptocurrency or other digital currencies
  • Participation in open-source projects or contributions to online communities, and a strong network of peers and mentors in the web development community
