North American Mission Board is hiring a
Senior Manager, Technology Services
📍 Alpharetta, GA
SUMMARY
This position will support NAMB’s ministry objectives in Sharing Christ, Starting Churches, and Sending Missionaries and Volunteers by insuring the technology infrastructure is safe, secure and reliable as measured by 99.9% availability. This position is a Tier 3 network infrastructure and server administration, maintenance and support position which focuses on providing excellent customer service according to established service level agreements (SLA’s); and troubleshooting service requests that have been escalated from other Information Services support staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following and other duties as assigned:
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediating server and infrastructure resources.
- Managing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory user accounts, permissions and passwords.
- Implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Azure network and application resources
- Managing Exchange Online e-mail, anti-spam and virus protection
- Managing Windows Server and infrastructure patch management and updates
- Managing organizational MDM solutions JAMF and Intune
- Implement and support remote network solutions for NAMB and Send Relief ministry centers
- Implement and support conference room AV solutions
- Maintain current documentation of infrastructure processes and diagrams
- Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of technology resources
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. Net+ or equivalent certification required
2. Three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. A+ or equivalent certification recommended, but not required
4. Experience with:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and later
- Microsoft Windows 10 and later
- Mac OSX
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Office365
- VMware 7.0
- Networking technologies and protocols (routing, switching, VLANs)
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents. Listening skills must be excellent with a proven ability to understand what is said and what is meant. Written skills must be strong and flexible. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Evidences of a mature and growing Christian walk characterized, by Paul, in 1 Timothy 3
and Titus 1. Personal wisdom and sufficiency are grounded in Christ and the word of God, with a life submitted to God’s authority in all things. Models a daily soul-winning lifestyle. OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of the NAMB strategy. Baptist guidelines – understands and demonstrates a familiarity with the financial structure within and among the SBC operating entities, i.e., NAMB, IMB, LifeWay, State conventions, associations and churches.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
