Job Description
As a Content Production Specialist at Overflow, you will play a critical role in driving our creative projects from concept to completion. You will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality photo and video content that aligns with our marketing and business objectives. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage all aspects of production, including collaborating with external contractors for larger projects and ensuring timelines are met.
This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to think strategically about how content fits within our broader marketing goals. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to develop ideas for engaging video and photo campaigns while maintaining a quick turnaround time for editing and finalizing content. Experience in social media content production is a bonus, as you may assist in managing and distributing content across digital platforms.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Capture, edit, and produce both photo and video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and other projects.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire production process from concept to delivery, including managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to execute large-scale projects and campaigns.
- Campaign Ideation: Contribute to brainstorming sessions to develop creative ideas for video and photo campaigns that align with our brand.
- Contractor Management: Hire and manage freelance photographers, videographers, or editors when additional resources are needed for larger projects.
- Editing: Use industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom) to quickly and effectively edit video and photo content.
- Quality Control: Ensure all content meets our brand standards, objectives, and is delivered on time.
- Support Marketing Initiatives: Assist with the production of social media content and campaigns when necessary.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in video production, photography, and social media to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the team.
Requirements

- Willingness to travel & participate in in person gatherings
- Commitment to serving the evangelical Christian church space, along side wider 501c3 non profit space
- Proven experience in both photography and videography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating video and photo content production.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom) or similar video/photo editing software.
- Strong understanding of lighting, sound, and composition for both photo and video.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating with and managing freelancers/contractors for larger projects.
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to turn ideas into actionable campaigns.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bonus: Experience or familiarity with managing content for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

Probationary Period
The first 90 days of your employment will be under a probationary period. During this period, both the company and you will determine whether you can perform the requirements of the job you have been assigned to. Near the end of this probation, we will assess your performance in the form of a standard review.
Compensation Package
BASE SALARY 💰 Payable on a bi-monthly basis & subject to all withholdings & deductions as required by law
EQUITY GRANT 📈 Subject to approval by Board of Directors, 4 year vest, 1 year cliff
