Remote Senior Manager, Digital Marketing

Overview
Lifeway Marketing is growing! We are seeking the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing - Remote. The Senior Manager will lead all of Lifeway’s omni-channel efforts around our digital marketing channels including paid media, organic social, and marketing automation. They will be responsible for establishing the vision, strategic planning and execution within each channel. This manager will also have budget responsibility for all paid media efforts and oversee a team of channel managers and strategists.
This role will take a lead in strategy development, campaign oversite, analysis, testing, and reporting for all enterprise-wide paid media, organic social and email initiatives. You’ll work with internal teams and agency partners to effectively and efficiently drive online conversions and lead generation efforts. This role will be skilled in SA 360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and other biddable media platforms along with Salesforce.
The Senior Manager is also responsible for weekly, monthly, and annual reporting on all marketing channel performance. They must be skilled in synthesizing data and findings into executive-level presentations with actionable recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have proven professional experience and success in managing multiple digital channels and driving awareness and conversions through organic strategies. Lifeway is hybrid of B2C and B2B customers so dual expertise and experience in both ecommerce and lead generation, delivering quality B2B prospects at high volume is critical.

Responsibilities
- Leads in strategy development, campaign oversite, analysis, testing, and reporting for all enterprise-wide paid media, organic social and email initiatives
- Collaborates with internal teams and agency partners to effectively and efficiently drive online conversions and lead generation efforts
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, and annual reporting on all marketing channel performance
- Creates and executes comprehensive paid, organic channel and marketing automation strategies for creating a holistic campaign experience
- Assures strategy is focused on serving churches, increasing revenue, retention rates, and LTV, generating leads, achieving low CPAs/ROAS
- Manages agency to ensure proper execution of paid media campaigns
- Manages email and SMS workflow, tasks and calendars in order to deliver campaigns on-time
- Develop and manage Lifeway’s rewards and loyalty program
- Oversee the template library, ensure email best practices, mobile responsiveness and rendering across all clients and devices
- Defines digital marketing channel success metrics throughout the funnel
- Develops and manages high-quality reporting, and communicate performance and insights
- Manages the digital marketing team channel strategists overseeing their day-to-day responsibilities and growing them as individuals
- Work with the brand and ministry teams on creative, messaging and priorities
- 10-15% travel, sometimes overnight
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Online Commerce, Business, or related fields of study
Experience Required
- Lives out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
- 7+ years of expert level experience managing various paid and organic omnichannel campaigns either client or agency side.
- 3+ years of people management experience
- P&L responsibility for multi-million dollar ad spend
- Critical entrepreneurial mindset and skills, proven ability to integrate with Sales / Operations teams
- Active, hands-on experience building campaigns directly in paid media platforms such as Google and Meta
- Demonstratable acumen in building email, SMS and push campaigns and user journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Attentive
- Experience in marketing automation, defining audience segmentation, and web analytics
- Highly skilled in SA 360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other biddable media platforms
- Knowledge of email regulations including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, TCPA and CASL
- Planning and executional skills - planning, writing briefs, segmentation, campaign setup, QA, A/B testing, reporting.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; has leveraged data to drive decisions and turned results into actionable learnings.
- History managing multi-layered projects across various cross-functional teams, hitting milestones and achieving KPIs.
- Knowledge of current and future trends in digital marketing and communications platforms and applications
- Member and/or actively involved in an evangelical Christian church
Experience Preferred
- Dual experience in both ecommerce and lead generation
- Knowledge of HTML coding is preferred; JavaScript, CSS, SQL, or alternative secondary coding knowledge
- SMS Strategy
